Daily Math Friends is a one-puzzle-a-day math app for adults. Same problem worldwide each day, a timer that starts the moment you open it, and a leaderboard for friends you add by invite code. This page is here to help if anything goes sideways.

The fastest way to reach us is email. We read every message and reply within a couple of days, usually sooner.
When you write in, it helps to include:
- Your device and iOS version (e.g. iPhone 14, iOS 18.2).
- The app version, shown at the bottom of the Settings screen.
- The display name or email you signed in with, so we can find your account.
- A short description of what happened and what you expected.
- A screenshot if the issue is visual.
Common questions
I solved today's puzzle but my time didn't save.
Attempts are graded and saved server-side, so a brief network hiccup can leave the app on the result screen without confirming. Pull-to-refresh on the Today tab; if your time is missing, email us with the date and we'll restore it.
The puzzle is the same as my friend's — is that a bug?
No, that's the design. Everyone in the world gets the same problem each UTC day. That's what makes the leaderboard meaningful.
My friend code didn't work.
Invite codes are 8 characters from an unambiguous alphabet (no 0/O, 1/I/L). If a code doesn't match anyone, double-check the characters with your friend and try again. If a request was sent but never appeared, ask them to check the Friends tab — incoming requests show up there.
I'm not getting the daily reminder.
The reminder is a local iOS notification scheduled by the app — there's no server push. If it's not firing:
- Check Settings → Notifications → Daily Math Friends on your device and confirm notifications are allowed.
- Inside the app, open Settings and toggle the daily reminder off and back on. That re-schedules the notification.
- If it still doesn't fire, email us and we'll dig in.
I want to change my display name.
Open the app, go to Settings, tap your name, edit, save.
How do I sign out or switch accounts?
Settings → Sign out. The next launch returns you to the sign-in screen, where you can use Apple, Google, or email.
How do I delete my account?
Email us at matthewzhenghi@gmail.com with the subject "account deletion". We'll confirm and remove your profile, all puzzle attempts, and any friendship records within 30 days. This action is permanent.
I think today's answer is wrong.
It happens. Email us the date and your reasoning — if the answer key is off we'll patch it server-side and credit anyone who got the "right" wrong answer.
